RE: 2 Days ago, (Wednesday) 11/09/2013, (English way) or, 9/11/2013 (American way) was, the 12th Anniversary of 9/11.

I still have, very very clear, memories of when, of when i, 1st heard the, news about this terrible terrible Tragedy, see my past (9/11 Blogs) for relevant further information.

It's still clear, 12 years on, from what i, have looked/read on other members, Blogs that the pain of Friends/Lost, Loved Relatives is still hard to cope with.

Since this terrible, terrible Tragedy happened every year when, the Anniversary comes, along/up i always always, watch all the, 9/11 Programmes on, TV & i, remember all the pain.TBC, TBC TBC TBC. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Shock and horror that day. What really touched me was that lots of Canadians went to help but there was no one to help. They were all dead!!!!!

Yes, it was a honorific day. I was home sick from work and was in bed watching the tv and I just could not believe what I was seeing on the tv, it's not something you forget.

Yes I will never forget that day of 9/9/11 I was in my daughter's bedroom about to do something for her she was only 5 an a half months & the radio was on & I heard about some plan crashed into the twin towers & I just was not sure just what I just heard... are we at war!?so I ran in the living room & turned on the news to see the replay of the plan crashing into the twin towers. That was a sad day something that I will never forget, later I found out that 2 different people I knew had someone there hurt & one person was going to go out there but changed their mind & did not do so.

I was at a meeting with my company at a "retreat" in the country. One of our members had been told to keep his cell phone on - he was too important to the company still left at the office to turn it off. that is the only way we found out about it. We went into the lady's house and crowded around her tv in time to see the towers was horrible and I'll never forget it

...every year, I remember being in a classroom filled with 4 yr. olds, and getting the scary news in dribs & drabs, from all of teachers taking turns going into the office to catch some TV coverage. Some parents showed up early to pick up their children. As I headed home, I wanted to go to Church..but wanted to be home for my high school aged daughter, needed to hug her. But their High School did NOT have an early dismissal. My husband worked for a Federal agency..and they were on heightened security. He got home a bit early, daughter got home regular time, and we were on phone with our other just married daughter. When we all were finally together ~ we just stared at TV non-stop , unbelievable coverage.

Our world, as we knew it, had been rocked off it's axis, never to be the same. emoticon
