Some of you might know this, but I quit smoking on Monday.
I'm already feeling better. I have more energy. I'm breathing easier. And according to SparkSavings, I've already saved $20!
But I was worried. REALLY worried.
The last time I quit (for almost a year and a half), I gained A LOT of weight. That was what tipped the scales, and got me up to 215.
So...I knew it was the right choice. I knew I would be healthier and happier, and that I would save money. But I was still worried.
Tomorrow is my official weigh-in for the 5% challenge. And I've been staring at the scale in dread all week, and imagining myself blowing up like a balloon. I decided to step on the scale, just to see where I was at.
Last week, I was at 166.5. This week...164.5!! I LOST 2 LBS!!
Worried no more!! Even if I do find myself gaining a little - which DOES happen - I can handle it and get myself back on track!
