Worried no more!

Some of you might know this, but I quit smoking on Monday.

I'm already feeling better. I have more energy. I'm breathing easier. And according to SparkSavings, I've already saved $20!

But I was worried. REALLY worried.

The last time I quit (for almost a year and a half), I gained A LOT of weight. That was what tipped the scales, and got me up to 215.

So...I knew it was the right choice. I knew I would be healthier and happier, and that I would save money. But I was still worried.

Tomorrow is my official weigh-in for the 5% challenge. And I've been staring at the scale in dread all week, and imagining myself blowing up like a balloon. I decided to step on the scale, just to see where I was at.

Last week, I was at 166.5. This week...164.5!! I LOST 2 LBS!!

Worried no more!! Even if I do find myself gaining a little - which DOES happen - I can handle it and get myself back on track!

    A huge congratulations to you!!!!! You've just kicked the hardest habit to break!! I quit smoking back in May although I did it with the help of the e-cig products. The change you feel is like night and day with every day brighter and brighter!

Super congratulations, for everything but quitting is the biggest. My quit date is set for Oct. 15 I can hardly wait but know I must as we are moving in 3 weeks. Not an ideal time to quit so the 15th it is. I know you will master this and pledge NOPE ( not one puff ever ) from now on.

    Congratulations on quitting! I quit 18 months ago and I'm still amazing at how much better I feel. And double congrats for losing weigh in spite of it!

    I found the key to quitting is never say ill never smoke again. something stressful comes up ..... ask yourself " is smoking a cig. going to help with this situation?. Ive quit many times over the years. My longest was 25 years. 10 years 3 years and currently 9 months 6 days. good luck. smoking sucks.

    Congratulations on quitting smoking!!! You are ALREADY becoming healthier....Just focus on small steps & the rest will dietary change at a time!
