Bedhead: soaring, but not epic
So yesterday I made a connection in my brain that is likely to have unforeseen consequences.
I realized that "walking around a mall shopping" includes the word WALKING and is a great way to get your step count up on the FitBit.

See, when I was a bigger size, it didn't matter. I could go into the stores all I wanted, but the clothes wouldn't fit me.
Now they do.
And I am a person who LOVES fashion.
So yesterday I bought myself a RED moto jacket. I have a black moto jacket that I bought in February in a size M. The red one I just bought is size S.
I also bought a scarf to go with it because it was imprinted with images of Marilyn Monroe. How could I pass that up?
The thing that bugs me about autumn is the return of knitwear to the shelves and racks. I am a knitter, so even though I don't knit sweaters (well, I should say, I don't finish the sweaters I start to knit -- let's be honest here) I know how a well-constructed sweater should look. I also know what constitutes a high-quality fibre from which to make knitwear.
So the stuff I saw in stores yesterday made me want to cry it was so cheap and ugly. It all looked like the worst discount stuff -- even the items in the supposedly better stores.
Fast fashion is ruining the nation!!
(Wow, you know you are getting old when you start making statements like that, haha!)
