Act 2, Scene 3....

Friday, September 13, 2013

"What if one day, you were to find out, that this is all a dream anyway, and you could have done anything you wanted to do, and been anything you wanted to be?

You, only you, could have written your own script. Played the lead in your very own play.
Would you have written it differently, perhaps? Played it with a bit more gusto! Put your whole heart and soul into it?

But then, it's only a dream. Right?

Well, my friends, this is act 2, scene 3, of your play. And the curtain is about to go up. And the lights are dimmed. And the orchestra is ready to begin.

And there you stand, alone, stage center.
And the world is waiting for you.

What will you tell it about you?
What will your dream be now?"

I always say that if I had it to do over again I would have taken better care of myself. Everything else came first. That has changed now and I feel better than ever.

Going back in time, there are decisions I would have made differently with what I know NOW. But as I get older I realize the value of thinking things thru, which I didn't when I was younger. Felt like I had "all the time in the world." Hmmm...well THAT sure slipped by quickly!

So, I'm firmly in the camp of living in the present and making it my best effort. I want to like the script!

HUGS and what a wonderfully thought provoking blog.

I know i'd do some changes in my past if this was all a dream and it was possible. I'd be more outgoing and social in school and not so shy and letting the TV guide my days and evenings.

Powerful stuff. I've always been more of a supporting role. Now I'm center stage?! EEP!
