After only two weight sessions into my second month of Chalean Extreme I have noticed that the cardio interval training sessions are not as hard to me as they were last month so now I don't have to modify as many of the moves. I feel much harder worked at the end of the workout now than I did last month due to the removal of certain modifications. I discovered today that the next time I do this work out I should be able to increase the weights I use!
Doing everyday things is starting to become less of a chore and more of a pleasure. I mean yes the muscle soreness can be uncomfortable but the things I can do now as opposed to one month ago make me feel proud of myself for keeping on going even though it has been hard. I can walk much farther much faster than I could last month. I can even do about 20-30 seconds of full jumping jacks where as before I could only do the modified version.
I plan to keep going forward and I hope that I will continue to surprise myself as I go. I still have around about 7.5 weeks to go on this program and then we will see where I go from there.
