After 2 days of low carbs, it was nice to have a high carb day. Today was a good day!! Got to text with 2 of my boys today. I think they're adjusting to being away and starting to have a lot of fun. I'm enjoying reading their blog and seeing what they're up to.
This morning, I met with my trainer and we did chest. I was pretty proud of myself: bench pressed 48 lbs. And, my trainer didn't have to help me at all. She told me that my form was perfect.
Since I forgot my headphones at home, I decided to do cardio at home instead of the gym. Just can't get on those machines without some music to keep me going!! Got on my spin bike and just pedaled away for 65 minutes.
Had to run to REI to return some coats my boys didn't take with them. By then, I was starving, so stopped into Subway for lunch. Felt better! Picked up my daughter and she wanted Get Shaved so I had some shaved ice with sugar free syrup. Nice and refreshing!
After soccer practice tonight, my daughter and I went out for dinner. Dad wasn't home, so I wasn't cooking. Giving her 10 more minutes and it's bed time!
Here was my menu for the day:
breakfast: oatmeal and egg whites (creature of habit!)
snack : 1 c of Greek yogurt w/ grapes and raspberries
lunch: 6 in whole wheat turkey sub: turkey, lettuce, spinach, cucumber, tomato and mustard
snack: quest bar
dinner: Chipotle salad bowl: brown rice, a drop of black beans, chicken, salsa and a bit of corn
I'm full just typing that!!
