My beau and his family will be getting together at his mom and step dad's house tomorrow to spend a bit of time and go through some of his mom's books.
His step dad is ordering keepsake pendants (I think they are pendants) for the kids for his mom's ashes. I have a small one with my dads ashes in it that my sister gave me and I love it. I don't wear it all the time, but I put it on if I am having an especially hard day.
My beau's sister is leaving to go back home Saturday and we will be leaving Sunday evening.
I am looking forward to getting home, but not looking forward to another bus ride.
Has anyone ordered NatureBox before? I finally gave in and ordered it...and I am not home to get it! My sister said it came last weekend and is sitting in my room...I am wondering what's in it! I got the middle size order and am hoping that it is worth the 30.00 a month.
I don't know if I have been able to maintain my weight with everything going on...I noticed that my capri's were still a little loose in the tummy last night but when I tried on my jeans this morning, I wasn't able to button them up. They were *just* big enough for me before, so I either put a couple of pounds back on or am still a bit puffy from the extra salt and stuff in the fast food and restaurant foods over the last couple of weeks.
I should be able to get a handle on it rather quickly once we get back home.
I am also looking forward to getting a job soon. I have several places that contacted me since we got down here....of course! It was like way back when I smoked (and you could smoke in a restaurant), as soon as you lit up, they brought out your order, lol!
While travelling is expensive, there just isn't anything I can really do about it, I am hoping to get a down payment together for a car before Halloween. I hope so anyways because after that it will be getting pretty chilly for walking or biking any distance in Chicagoland!
It seems like every time we get money in the bank....
I actually had enough for a down payment in the bank this morning, but that is soon to be decimated by the purchase of our return bus trip.
Oh well. C'est La Vie!
Take care and love yourself!
