Are you Doing the Paleo Diet...

I haven't done a blog in a while. I am still here. I have no complaints.

I cannot believe that we are nearing 3 months left in the year and I am still hanging in doing my best.

I can say that I have not quit.

I was thinking about starting the Paleo Diet. I don't know anybody that is doing it.

Could you help me along the way and share your experience and weight loss results...

Help me along the way.....

    I've been following the Paleo diet since February and I've lost almost 50 pounds.

For me it was because of a gluten sensitivity. I was having horrible stomach pains, and that is completely gone.

As already noted, if you make the change you'll have some effects; especially if you are eating a lot of carbs now, you'll have what they call 'carb flu.' You'll feel tired and sluggish, but it should pass in a couple days.

I would recommend reading up on the diet. Robb Wolf's book 'The Paleo Solution' is a great place to start. Check with your local library. I read every book I could find and did research online.

  Eating healthy clean food is a great idea balance is he key . You should eat healthy foods that you enjoy. Beware that sometimes eating fresh fruits & veggies may upset your stomach & give you gas & diarrhea . As a test you may want to begin on a weekend / or at a time when can test yourself to see how your gut handes the new diet.

Good luck. It should make you healthier by cleansing your body of toxins & infusing you with nutrients. emoticon emoticon
