Been having some serious stomach issues lately (the past two weeks) so thought it would be a good idea to scale back on my gluten and other starches to see if that would help. So I am a week into making all of my meals from scratch (including my own mayo, salad dressings, and gluten free muffins) But still no relief. Plus I have lost exactly zero weight even though I have made a conscious effort not to go over 150 carbs a day.
I am currently waiting for my doctor to call me for a phone appt. to discuss and more importantly get a referral for a stomach specialist. This is not fun. I would say the pain is hovering between mildly annoying and full blown stomach ache. I am thinking I might actually have an ulcer since the pain has not been helping with prolesec acid reducer. But won't know for sure until I can have a camera placed in my stomach for a look.
Will keep you posted. I also found out I can't take the gluten test until I have completely gotten it out of my system for 6 weeks. So annoying! Since gluten is added to everything for a food binder. (including processed meat. So gross!)
