In my last blog, I finally had gotten a job. Well, now I have 2. I work during the day at the first job.. most days of the week, usually 5 for sure. Then I work at the other job 2 nights a week. I like both of my jobs, but what I don't like is the one employer is always sending people home early. I am scheduled for an 8 hour shift and only get to work 4.5-5 hours usually. It's becoming hardly worth the drive, because it is such a small wage and you make hardly no tips at all. Most days you get none. If I make 3 dollars in tips I'm feeling lucky.
Anyway, I had turned down another job shortly after I got hired at the first place. Today on my way home I got called by a company that I had interviewed with 3 times for a position and didn't end up getting. They are now considering me for another position. I really hope I get this one, it is no further away than my daytime job but pays probably $2.00 more per hour and has benefits. That's huge!
During my hectic crazy schedule lately. I haven't been eating much and if I do it isn't always a healthy choice. However I have officially dropped 13 pounds in 2 weeks as of this afternoon. Is it the right way to do it? No. Is it the healthy way to do it? No. I can't help it though, I do keep food in my car, like almonds or oatmeal bars. I just simply don't have time to eat! I don't get a break at the one job, so by the time I get home and everything it doesn't pay to eat when supper is an hour away. Or I go straight to the other place and just never think about or have time to eat because I'm constantly walking and moving and working. Gah!
I'll take the 13 pound loss! Wish I could see it a little more than what I am though. If I were working out it would probably look a lot different. That will have to get worked into my life at a different time though!
