Setting up to Succeed

This has been a really busy week. And next week is looking to be even busier . . . and then the week after that is vacation . . . . .


I'm already thinking ahead, planning so I don't get caught and wander too far off my Sparkplan.

It's times like these next 3 weeks that will reveal the 'weak' spots in my plan. I don't want to get caught off guard and end up "UN DOING" all the progress I've made - especially the new habits I'm developing.



If I do mess up, I know that each day is a new beginning, and I vow not to beat myself up . . . . but on the other hand I want to set myself up for success, rather than failure.

So, today I will stay on my plan, and that will make me one day stronger to face the future!


I won't let me down!

    Sounds like you have it all covered, Cathy. I did my fitness schedule on our first vacation in May as the hotels all had Fitness Rooms. I wasn't so prepared for my other two vacations.

    Excellent. When we took our motorcycle trip around the great lakes and into Canada a couple months ago, I brough along my resistant band and did arm, back and chest exercises three days a week and took full advantage of the pools at each hotel we stayed at.

    Great plan! We're going on holidays next week too, and I'm doing the same kind of planning. DH likes fast food when we're on the road, but as long as we choose someplace that offers salad, I can have a healthy choice too. We always carry some fresh fruit with us, or pick it up every couple of days, and keep lots of water in the car.
