Well, that certainly was well planned...

Thursday, September 12, 2013

My breakfast/lunch today. Yeah, not so much. I did track it (which is a start) cheese, a banana, crackers...and potato chips.

I will be SO glad when the market season is over and I can get time for myself again. Deciding on the y renewal. If I do it, I'm going to suspend my membership over the summer next year instead of paying that ridiculous amount of money when I can't use the facility because of the screaming children.

I'm also hoping the pollen dies down soon. Not being able to breathe certainly hasn't helped. I haven't even been able to wear my new contacts long enough to get the fit checked yet. In a week, I was only able to have them in a total of 6 hours because they get gritty from the pollen.

And can someone tell my why my INHALED steroids are making me hungry all the time?? Ugh. SO ready for winter!

Today I'm knitting on socks for a while. Then I'm going to make a crapload of green and yellow cupcake hats. And several pairs of booties. I'm thinking about some new designs as well for the alpaca shop...

Okay, enough being lazy. Off the mobile and back to knitting!

Have a great day!

Seni, I had to laugh at the part about you being lazy! You're definitely not lazy. Always planning and sewing and working! Far from being lazy in my opinion!

Okay, I have to ask what in the world is a cupcake hat?

Hope your allergies get better. I had disposable contacts for awhile but my allergies were always so bad that I had to go back to wearing glasses full time. UGH! I'm suffering from sneezing and a runny nose today so I know how you feel. Allergies!

The worst of allergy season is just starting for me. While I have lots of allergies, ragweed season is by far the worst! I'm lucky the meds don't make me hungry (I think), but as the fall season cools down, I want to eat more. It doesn't help that Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are all coming up, as well. But I have great motivation now. Since I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes I've been really careful about what I eat and exercising. I'm finally losing weight again.

I absolutely hate finding imperfections in my yarn, especially when you're working on something small or in the middle of a long row on something big!
