Lately I have been eating a lot of junk foods and not eating breakfast. I eat cookies for a mid day snack instead. I have gotten in to the habit of eating at least two candy bars a day. And having the full sugar and fat drink when I go out for coffee. I have not put a lot of weight back on only about two pounds but this is two pounds in the wrong direction for my scale to go.
I walked to the library yesterday and got a good book that put the Spark back in me and I am going to get back on track. In the book it talked about eating more protein and not white flour and sweets. I don't like eating breakfast but don't mind drinking a protein shake so I went to the store last night and got some. As I was writing this blog I got feeling hungry and light headed. I got a shake drank it fast and now I feel alright.
When I first started on Spark People I was drinking slimfast drinks for breakfast. I think I will do this again. They are easy to drink and start my day off right. I think I will replace my sugary coffee drink with slimfast. I am going to do this 3 to 4 times a week. On the other days I will eat eggs, greek yogurt or cottage cheese and fruit for breakfast.
My streak that I plan to do is for 3 months I will eat no candy, cookies, cakes or white flour. I think 3 months is a long enough streak to get me started getting healthier.
