Hello again my friends. Hi.

I had gone away and then I came back for a day....and then I left AGAIN!

What's up with that????

I have nothing to blame it on by my own atrocious laziness. I was doing amazing and so I stopped losing and just decided that I was ready to start maintaining already. I feel pretty good about that decision still and I have no regrets on the matter.

So what have I been doing with my bad self you may ask?? I've been eating what I like (in moderation mostly and sometimes not...), I've been running (I'll get back to that...), I've been relaxing and vacationing, dying my hair outrageous colors, and hanging out with friends and family.

Back to the exercise I mentioned...I stopped going to the gym. Say WHAT?? No joke, I stopped. What can I say...LAZY! I was still running all summer, and by running, I mean distance running (5-10 miles every other day). It was horrible/awesome. We had bad storms in June and though I had an 8k all planned, it was canceled :(

But I kept running anyway...

Then there was the Boot's & Boa's 5k race that I did last weekend with my fam. Here is a pic of us as finishers:



I now have a happy little stress fracture in my right foot. So needless to say I have entered the sloth zone with complete abandon. LOL

I guess my body is telling me that it needs a break from all that pavement pounding.

Oh well...I will be replacing my outdoor fun by going back to my sadly deserted gym. Because hey, even though I have an injury, it's not a good enough excuse to lay in bed and eat ice cream right out of the container (ahem...I did that last week).

PLAN: Do something! Eat for fuel not for comfort!! Smile and have fun because life is short and you should enjoy it, stop focusing on all the negativity as it will get you nowhere and it makes you feel like crap.

    You are one amazing woman! We had bunches of rain in fact I ran my 10k in the rain! Training for my first half in November and have done 5ks here in there with the boy! Who would have thought we would run like we do!
BTW I love the hair colors! I did not go as creative as you but I have blonde highlights in mine after all I am old! LOL Miss you girl glad to see you! Hugs! Luv ya! kEEP RUNNING SISTA!

    So good to see you back. You really look amazing, so happy for you. Good luck with your eating and getting those exercise minutes in. It's so hard when you feel like you're finished with the fight. Like I told you before, I got a little too comfortable and I'm back trying to take off the 15 I gained back. Boo! :) Have a great end of summer and an awesome fall if I don't see you!
