" Hold no man responsible for what he say's in his grief." The Talmud

Today is a sad day for America. This date will be remembered for years and centuries to come. Everyone has memories of that day. As a people we are sad and many countries stand with us.

I remember being at work on break and seeing the horror unfold on television. Soon all the schools were sent home and we all huddled on the couch as a family watching the unbelievable horror.

The next day my kids had soccer practice and I refused to be afraid. Watching the innocent playing on the field and trying to smile was hard . It was eerie not hearing the planes fly overhead.

But our lives went on we faced the tragedy and learned what was precious and held on a little tighter.

We all grieve differently . We are all the same but not. We must understand and move on , but we will never forget .

I was driving to the post office for work errands when I heard it on the radio. I thought it was a prank at first. When I went int0 the post office, I told the clerks and the customers and we all were in total shock.

I remember the quietness of the planes not flying over our house too. I pray for peace for all countries of the world and hope we will never experience anything like 9/11/01 ever again.

well written - you are not alone in your grief and sorry. Many Canadians join with you. My sister lost several of her colleagues when the towers went down and others we know were also touched. As you say, we will never forget. Lin

I was alerted by an AIM instant messenger to the horrible happening and recall how horrendous it felt watching it on tv. I remember that feeling about planes too.
Praying for those who lost loved ones due to the tragedy.
