Wow, I haven't blogged in a while!
Well we moved, and it was awful horrible the worst move ever. We ended up having to move twice in one weekend because our apartment wasn't ready like the landlord said it would be but we had to be out of our old one. Ever since it's just been lies and things broken and he won't fix and he's just the worst. We are moving again this weekend!! Crazy busy stressful!! We got out of the lease and off we go!! Gah!! All this with school starting and my birthday (TODAY!!!) hehe I'm 28 today!! Woohoo!
Anyways we are trying to make the best of things and keeping our heads up.
Brittany started grade 6! Last year of elementary school!
Buster is pretty well all healed from his crazy surgery. He still can't run with me for another couple weeks though.
Here he is soaking up some sun on the deck at my boyfriends parents place where we stayed while we were homeless for 2 days!
Cuddling with Brittany while she tries to play on her ipad
I celebrated my birthday this weekend, with an awesome dinner (pasta, shrimp, peppers, wine!), cake with my family and my first Team In Training run (I'll explain on that in a minute!)
So I decided to Join Team In Training and raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! I will be training with them and raising money with them. They provide mentors to help with fundraising and couches to help with running! I'm going to run a half marathon in January 2014! I going to run in Disney World in Florida!! I've never been to Disney before!! I'm so excited!!
At the kick off meeting I got to meet this little guy Ryan, he is our honored hero and he is who we are running for. He's so strong and amazing and has an incredible personality! He is fighting leukemia and being amazingly brave while doing it!
If any of my awesome sparkbuddies want to help by making a contribution that would be so greatly appreciated!!
