Did you sign up to join me?

Wednesday, September 11, 2013

I just checked the list for the Virtual Race and see that some of you who said you would join me in my 5K Walk tomorrow have not registered on the virtual race page. You can do this and get credit for a 5K. I did not realize this when I went on a virtual with JACKSGRAN on 8/18/13 but since joining the 5K Walk Your Way team have figured out how to do it. I hope lots of you will join me, if only in spirit...and the rest of you, sign up so you can mark it off!!

Wow! Didn't know you can do that. I've signed up. Thanks for the link! But what's the team?

Duh! I see it now. Walk your way. I'll go join.

No, Sassy, anyone can sign up for any week or day of the week that they want! LindaC399-a virtual race is one where you plan the route you will walk and keep track of the time or the mileage (or both) on your pedometer or your watch (and car odometer is one way for mileage-map the route feature is another. Then you join in. You can walk (or run or bike) whatever you sign up for. They are not organized "races" like most of the 5K or 10K's that you see advertised. You just do the race in support of someone else who is walking or on your own. If you click on the link it will take you to the spark page article that explains it.

I hope that's as clear as mud??? emoticon

I see Judy and Sassy in there and am waiting for Stacy!!
and now Stacy is in too!!

I've signed up, but I think you have to be a member of the team and to have completed the plan.
