Mom is coming home; Denver, I have arrived ... for a few days anyway.

First thing upon landing in Denver this afternoon, I checked my emails. What? Doesn't everyone?
There was a not from my sister. Mom's Occupational and Physical Therapists both signe doff for her to go home after she visited her doctor on Thursday. Yippee!
I got to Dave and Carolyn's house in very short order, only about 30 minutes. Not bad. When I got there the first thing I saw was a bowl of fruit. When they lived in Hamden in Baltimore they never had fruit . Today, lots. Either Carolyn is getting healthier about her shopping, or she knows how much I like fruit. Either way, it's a good thing.
When Colin got up, she took advantage of me and went to the store. Colin and I had a good time, but he got hungry. I started poking through the fridge ... no bottles. But there were grapes, strawberries, melon pieces. I started cutting and fast. Then I grabbed a peach. That child ate the whole peach. He's only nine months old!
After Dave got home and we had dinner of a vegetable curry and naan and we visited with the Orioles Yankees game on the Roku (Carolyn picked the Yankees announcers). When the Orioles were done losing the game, I went to the local YMCA. Only three miles away. If I wasn't a stranger in a strange land and it wasn't dark, I could have run of walked.
But it was a good workout after having been in airports or airplanes all day today. And still, walking through three large airports, I still got my 10000 steps.
And being two timezones off, I am exhausted. See you all tomorrow.
