'cause it has to be another "still going backwards" blog. Got in 3 good runs last week but also got in more than 3 days of no-no eating. Frantic weekend with Trade Fair Booth, funeral, and grandson's baptism--good tasting but bad-for-me food galore at all events : (

This week? Monday--lethargic from weekend indiscretions; Tuesday--trip to the 'city', always precludes exercise and includes food temptations. Tomorrow--should be able to do an early-morning run and stay on track nutritionally all day, likewise Thursday. Friday--attend a oil-pipeline info workshop (Enbridge's Northern Gateway Pipeline would pass through our area) in the 'city'. Probably be fed typical workshop high cal/high fat/ high sugar coffee snacks. I have *zero* willpower faced with a tray of doughnuts : (

It's starting to look as if my birthday will have to be a New Start rather than a Celebration of Goal Reaching. But that's how it goes sometimes. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

    Well, I'm still glad to hear from you. I know it won't take long to turn this thing around. Maybe a fruit and water binge for a day? I know too much overindulgence pushes me in that direction. Whatever it is, I'm sure you have the answer.
