Working out everyday

Tuesday, September 10, 2013

Still working out. Clothes are getting bigger..Yay! I have been hearing more and more compliments about my weight loss. Yesterday a parent from my school actually called me "skinny" It felt great to hear that!
It is so encouraging to keep up the fight for weight loss and healthier choices when you hear your friends tell you, "you look like you are loosing weight".
I look at the scales everyday...I know I shouldn't but it is like a addiction. I get excited when I loose weight, but bummed when I gain a few ounces or even a pound or two. I have come to realise that water gain from poor food choices the day before may have an affect on the scales the next day.

Thanks everyone. You all are very encouraging too! VMMMAY keep up the hard work. I too have gotten on and off the scale. Sometimes I even weigh myself then go for a 2-3 mile walk and weigh myself again. Funny thing...I weigh less when I return. so it motivates me to be proactive and involved in fitness.

I did gain my weight slowly too. But now it is coming off slowly and I am beginning to appreciate my body and the way I feel more now.

I have the biggest trouble remembering that "you didn't gain it all quickly and it will not come off quickly". some mornings I get on and off the scale 3 times just going for a happier number. but I am trying to remember that sometimes things are happening that don't show on the scale. any, and every, comment from someone that you are looking slimmer is a VICTORY! and the scale will continue to show that you are working towards your goals, it just takes a little bit to make a move!

enjoy those compliments and keep working!
