Weighed in this morning for the online Biggest Loser challenge I'm doing to encourage a friend who is a hard loser like me. Looks like I lost three pounds this week. I'll take it - I won't hold my breath but I may have figured out what I need to do to shed some of this weight.
I need to eat at or below my BMR (1775 cals per day) and count any calories burnt with exersise as just that....calories burnt, not an excuse to eat more. Sigh. Sparkpeople puts me at well over 2000 for the amount of activity I do, as does Fitbit and Loseit. Just doesn't work for me. This Big Girl needs to put on her Big Girl Panties and realise she can't be the Girl With The Most Cake. ;)
Another realisation - I've been intrigued by the recipe making the rounds for egg and banana pancakes. Just a smooshed banana and two eggs and voila....pancakes that would fool ya. Humph. I will stick with the usual gluten free pancakes I make once a month or so as a treat, I think. These "pancakes" were ok, I guess. Maybe more like a crepe than anything. A nice hearty schmear of Nutella might've sexed them up a bit!
