I'm kind of all over the place right now. I'm happy I didn't get lost yesterday. I managed not to vomit on the person sitting next to me on the airplane. I kind of hate this entire trip already and I want to go home.
First of all, I had brought all my 5 medifast meals with me so I only had to worry about protein and 1.5 cups of veggies for my lean & green meal. I had bought some vegan protein jerky to use as the protein. Guys, it's worse than dog food. I almost got sick just eating it. Probably top 10 worst things I've ever eaten in my life. I went to bed hungry, hoping that the breakfast will have eggs so I don't have to worry about my protein the rest of the day.
NO BREAKFAST. Of course not. Because that would make my life easy.
Lunch was served buffet style so I don't even know why the people that enrolled me into this thing bothered asking for "vegetarian" plated meals. Best protein I found was 2 slices of what I'm guessing is FULL FAT cheese. I can already feel it going straight to my thighs. And a cup of tomato basil soup. Obviously not a complete lean & green and it wasn't filling so I was cold and hungry. But surely, surely the dinner would be better. After all, "all meals included" was promised.
NO DINNER. I'm guessing "all meals included" is used loosely. I'm not about to pay another $8 for broccoli again. And I'm sure as hell not eating those vegan death sticks again. I would literally rather starve which is exactly what is happening right now.
Can you tell I'm mad?
I got another full day of this crap tomorrow. I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say the salt level in that soup was also really high. BUT there might be hope yet. The agenda says "breakfast" will be served at 7 am tomorrow. I swear to freaking god if they have just a wall of bagels or waffles or some other carb nightmare I'm going to scream.
Side rant: this conference is about aptitude testing for recruiting purposes. You want to make sure you hire the right person so it stresses the job to person fit. Well, I got Malibu barbie sitting next to me and she works for a well known, national chain of gyms. I'm not going to say which one. Ms. Barbie wants to know if we can not hire people based on their weight. As in, don't hire people over X lbs. How screwed up is that?! I can just smell the lawsuit. Probably because I'm so damn hungry!! Gah!!
105 freaking days left.
