Lunch Time Walk

Tuesday, September 10, 2013

I made it out for my lunch time walk. It was much nicer weather than last week. It was slow going though. I didn't wear my walking shoes today. I made the mistake of wearing them while I mowed the lawn on Saturday and I remember thinking I needed to wash these shoes and shoestrings before Tuesday. I got busy Saturday and Sunday and then Monday I wore my walking shoes again because my husband and I walked yesterday morning, but it didn't occur to me that I was supposed to wash those shoes. Not until I looked at them this morning. I wore these flat payless shoes that don't have a lot of support. Actually there is not much of a bottom to them at all. It took me 70 minutes to walk a route that usually takes about 55 minutes. I got it done though and I will probably be wearing them tomorrow.

Thanks Everyone! My problem is I only have one pair of walking shoes and it's time to replace those. I'm going to buy two pair next time, even if they are the same shoes. emoticon

I keep an extra pair of walking shoes (usually old ones) under my desk just for those occasions. Good for you for not letting your shoes stop you.

Good job getting out there even though you didn't have your walking shoes! I hope they don't bother your feet since there is no support in them.

Keep up the good work. I do a workout at my desk and sometimes I can get a quick 10 to 15 minutes of dancing in. Of course my door is closed too.
