Today is an extremely hot day!
I tried doing a mile outdoors - I prefer outdoors
over the treadmill
since I can tell I am working harder by propelling myself on the pavement than I do on the treadmill. Anyway, it was way too hot, humid, and the seasonal allergies was just too much for me.
I hopped on the treadmill and realized that my last jog setting of 3.3 was a little slow so I kicked it up to 3.5 mph. It felt comfortable with a slight challenge. In the last quarter mile, I upped it to 4.3 mph. I finished strong with doing a full mile in 16.37 minutes!!!
I jogged two more miles, making it a total of 4 miles!
My left leg started to hurt so I stopped, boo... Hopefully I will get back on the treadmill later today, I just don't want to push through any unusual pains.
Also exciting is that I purchased two high impact sports bras last night that match my new running outfits and it works amazing! I do not feel the bouncy boobs or the underneath chafing!
My next two mini goals are to be able to jog 3 miles straight (almost there) and to jog at least a mile in 15 minutes.
Eventually, I want to be able to jog 5 miles (with a few walking breaks in between). I am at 4 miles and I know I can do this!
