after my 5k on Sunday, yesterday i had a reoccuring really mild pain in my shin. just my one leg. it's been very mild and sporadic all summer but it's there. The thing that bugs me is I HARDLY run. i do half walking!! but i also am heavy and due to a medical condition i'm at risk for stress fractures, so i made an appointment to get it checked out next Monday unless i can get in sooner. i don't think it's a stress fracture but maybe it's leading up to one?? I just would rather be safe than sorry. So i'm going to get it checked out and make sure it's nothing serious.
Because of the slight pain i'm going to take it easy on my leg this week and not run.. i would swim but i froze my gym membership. At the end of this week if it's feeling better i will do however some walking on incline and speed intervals on my treadmill and 30 day shred.
The good news is that the swim training class is back on next week! I just decided to suck it up and do it. :)
