Ok so San Diego's woes continue lol

Tuesday, September 10, 2013

I love you Texans lol. I had a feeling at halftime they were thinking they could come back so I wasn't even worried, seriously best game for me since The Bronco game last Thursday. Way to go Redskins for waking up and almost giving The Eagles more than they could handle. I think RG3 needs a little time to get back into the swing of things. Redskins looked horrendous in the first half though, atrocious really! Nobody and I mean nobody looked as bad as the NY Giants though, even their coach said so~

Its only the first week but I think out of any winners in week 1 The Broncos came out and said we're here to play. Granted the first half they were trying to get in rhythm but hello defense coming together and showing up mentally. I think The Texans did it as well in the second half. I know the Chiefs came to play but it was Jacksonville so until I see a few more games from them I'll reserve judgment but super effort in KC. Every other team had close scores so everyone else didn't separate from the pack in my view. I see some good progress with the Saints, Seahawks, Bears and Titans though. 49'ers goes without saying picking up where they left off with the Packers.

So the SO watched the first game with me and had supper over. (He left after the first quarter of the Chargers Texans so he could get ready for his meeting tomorrow.) I made roasted chicken, spinach rollups, salad and bread. The SO needed a meat and potatoes kind of dinner, he texted me about 3 to tell me that. He wanted the Redskins to win but I was thinking the Eagles had the edge slightly. The only game I lost this weekend was Vikings over the Lions. The Lions won of course lol. I even picked Dallas over the Giants, go figure.

The SO has his wedding suit and we have decided we are going to just get married between the 2 of us and having his 2 children with us. We're already getting pushback from some of the relatives on his side about having a larger affair and we don't want to deal with it. We're paying for the ceremony and everything associated so we thought that would eliminate any big mouths from the trying to take over the proceedings. The SO wanted things small and simple. He had the big drama the first time so he wanted to avoid it this time. I didn't have a big to do with my wedding the first time because I wasn't in the mood for ridiculousness. We have everything we want or need for the house so we're not tied to whatever everyone else wants. Granted we live in an interesting town and people can come in as they please but The SO decided he just wanted to eliminate the foolishness from the jump so we're going to get married in Mid-October with just us four and we'll have dinner afterwards and what's done is done. I'm fine with that. In my view the smaller the better. To me marriage is ultimately between 2 people when you break it down to the bare bones of it all. Sure you have family and some close friends but to me marriage is 2 people. I think my parents are fine with it because my brother did the same thing when he married earlier this year.

It feels like fall here with our monsoon season and today it was cool and windy, a huge thunderstorm and heavy rain. Yep, I gotta get out in the mornings if I want to walk consistently or jump on the treadmill more. This morning it was raining though. I feel good today though and food was better today. Onward Tuesday!

emoticon WTG getting those Miles in Early. Though there is nothing wrong with Treadmill Miles, especially when you can Watch a Good Drama while you Walk, LOL!!
emoticon You are right about Marriage being Two People, and all the Drama that goes with a Big Affair sometimes make people forget that, at least temporarily. Congratulations on getting your Plans finalized. I know that is a Relief to Both of you.
