A personal friend of mine posted this article on FaceBook today...
I guess I'm one of the lucky ones to be allergic to artificial sweeteners. It's difficult to lose weight when you can't use artificial sweeteners, but there's something to be said about learning to use natural sugar in moderation to achieve results in a HEALTHY manner.
If you use artificial sweeteners, drink diet drinks, chew sugar-free gum, etc. PLEASE READ THIS!! Your current medical condition(s), if you are experiencing any, may not be what your health care provider has diagnosed! You may be experiencing symptoms of ASD!!!
I am amazed at how many people here on SP have symptoms of "real" diseases, stop using artificial sweeteners, and no longer have those symptoms! Type in Artificial Sweetener Disease in the search box and you'll see a plethora of info! WOW!
I am not one to go gung-ho on "natural" or "organic" products, but I do believe that God made our bodies to be pretty self-maintaining if taken care of properly - fed healthfully, enough rest, exercised properly - and we should be aware of what we put into it. Life is a gift not to be taken for granted. emoticon
Stepping off my soap box now.... emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
