Ahhhh another weekend gone. This weekend was again filled with food/alcohol based business gatherings. I wake up on a Monday with bloat to get rid of. Last week I said it was a normal part of a healthy lifestyle and I still believe that but a part of me wants it to be a little LESS a part of my lifestyle. I know I keep saying it so for the sake of preventing redundancy I will not mention it again. I will let me actions speak louder then my words.

Here we are at the most hip new restaurant to be at in Santa Barbara.



Moving along!

I woke up feeling like filling my self with the very best ingredients that this world has to offer and thought that a few Shakeology based days sounds appetizing. I'm pretty sure my new bag is due today so the timing is perfect. I am not just hyping a product but Shakeology sets me right! I have written out a few interesting shake recipes to play with over the next few days and of course I will share them.

Onward and upward!

    Too funny that we're both doing a Shakeo cleanse :)

Seriously kills me though; by dinner I am SO ready for solid food again lol. But it's nice 1) that I'm off today and tomorrow and 2) it's so hot out that drinking a cold shake is AMAZING. What flavor do you have?

    First of all, you look great in all your photos! 2nd of all, there's nothing wrong with enjoying life. 3rd of all, I love Shakeology! Haha :) you will def have to share the recipes you try!

Constantly having to think about being healthy is no fun. Sometimes it can be downright exhausting. You just have to find a balance and find out what you really want. Is going out with friends and enjoying good food more important than having a 6 pack? Then stop worrying about the things you eat if it's worth it and you're with good company. If having the 6 pack is more important, then you know what you have to do! Ifyyou're somewhere in the middle, then you find a balance there. I'm at a point where I still want to enjoy life while getting fit so I'll have a cheat day every week and not be too strict with my food on the other days. It may take me longer to get to my goal but I'm good with that!

Do what makes you happy! Lifes too short to be stressed about the small things!
