I fell yesterday,,,, sad face!!!

Monday, September 09, 2013

I fell yesterday & landed on my arm. So from what I can tell, rest is the option! THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE for me! I am right handed, dressing, cooking etc, isn't going very well. I took today off work & just sitting. I may try to walk in our pool later, better than nothing, plus I can keep my sling on. ????heat or ice?no zumba can't drive or put shoes on! Also eating VERY carefully so I don't gain! Typing 1 letter at a time, left hand!

Oh sweet friend! There is nothing WORSE than being laid up. BUT...perhaps this is the universe's way of telling you to slow down on the 'doing' and start enjoying the 'being' for a period of time.

You are so CRAZY busy and active this might be just the thing you need to do some reading, studying, and quiet time stuff!

I'm keeping you in my will be just fine and don't stress over anything right now other than healing!

Oh dear! Glad it wasn't worse . . . I do hope with rest you will be back to your busy self again . . . . don't rush it.

I know how frustrating it can be. I remember after a car wreck 11 years ago when my right collar bone was fractured in 3 places . . . couldn't do anything for months without un-doing all the healing.

Be patient. . . . this too shall pass. (gentle emoticon )

REST and drink plenty of water (it will help with the healing process).
Take good care of yourself.

I was going nuts when I hurt my foot...thank goodness I was only out of commission for two weeks...more would've simply killed me...

Best of luck, hope the arm heals up nice and quick

Take it easy !! I know it's tough to sit tight, but that's exactly what you need to do. If you try to use your arm before it has had time to heal, you risk making the injury worse.

trust me, you will not derail any of your efforts at good health or weight loss because you can't exercise. Just be mindful of your portions, that's all. You really won't do any harm in 3-4 days. And yes, I certainly recommend that you try to rest that arm for a few days.

Feel better soon !

Hey there, take care of yourself. I am a serious fall risk so I take extreme measures to stay upright. I had a need to get on my knees last week, and for the life of me, I COULD NOT GET UP and had to call for help.

Please take care, we aren't through with you yet. emoticon
