My goals can be broken down into 3 parts, which is unusual for me...
1 ~ In this next challenge, I want to lose 6#, which will be enough to make me under 200 pounds. This will be the first time I weighed that little in 2 decades or so.
2 ~ My big-picture goal is to lose another 20 or so. This one is harder to define because I'm not sure what the timeline is like. I want to lose the weight by the time my older son gets married, but since he hasn't even asked her yet, who knows what date they'll set. Could be five months, could be two years. My oldest nephew got married 2 years ago, and all I can remember is my sister telling me how uncomfortable she was in the new dress she bought, because her excess weight was starting to slow her down at that point. When my man-child get married, I don't want how I look, or the inability to do the things I want to do, uppermost in my mind: I want to enjoy myself.
3 ~ my goals for the challenge will also include trying new things. Maybe a week of trying a new SP recipe every day, or a new exercise routine. I feel a need to shake it up a bit, and autumn in always a good time to do that.
