Plan of attack!!

So I decided to weigh in this morning. I was really nervous considering how bad my eating has been. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as I expected. I weighed in at 147.6...

So my first goal focus is reaching 140. I would love to reach this goal by the end of October. Seven pounds in about 2 months.. If I work hard I can do this! It seems for me, getting to the 130s has been the bane of my existence the past year or so. I know 130 is my goal weight, but, I really am looking forward to be able to say in the 130s and never see a 1 followed by a 4 again on the scale... It seems like every time I get there it's for a very fleeting moment in time. I get so happy and then something happens and the scale is up again within a couple days... So I am going to focus the next couple of months on getting to 140, then I will tackle the next goal of 130s...

It seems so close. If I look at the big picture its a total of 17 lbs. Only 8 lbs to get to the 130s. Why can't I seem to get there??? So annoying...

I'm noticing a trend though. emoticon Summer seems to be a hard time for me. You would think it would be the opposite cause people are so active in summer. I usually am the first couple months. Then we get into the 100+ degree weather and all I want to do is sit in the A/C and not die of heatstroke. So, I am going to work my tail off this emoticon Fall and emoticon Winter. I really want to get to my goal before summer next year. This time it isn't to "get into a bikini". Now it's so I can maintain during the hottest summer months where I can't get outside as much to exercise. There's only a few more weeks until it starts to cool down. Usually by the end of October. So that gives me November thru around May-June. Just about 7-8 good months of nice cool weather... I can do it!!

    YOU can do it!! Get a focus in your mind of how you want to look and feel. Talk those positive words ONLY.......OUT LOUD, and you will reach your goals. It also is a good idea to move a little more, and not buy junk food that calls your name!!

    Sounds like a great plan. We in warmer climates have extreme heat to deal with in summer and more moderate fall and winters.
Sounds like a good idea to take advantage of weather you can workout in...

    It is great that you can see your activity trend. I am definitely most active in the fall and spring because of the weather.

    You can do this but be careful not to push too hard. This is going to be corny but remember "it's not how fast you get there or what's waitng on the other side, it the climb". In this journey it's not how fast you loose, or how good you will look in that bikini, it's the healthy lifestyle modifications you make to keep for a lifetime of happy living. Looking good in your bikini is a good thing but that's just a short term emphasis. We have got to learn how to manage everyday for the rest of our lives to be healthy for ourselves, our family and as a role model to the world!

I am getting to deep so, hope you can stick with it and get it this time! emoticon emoticon
