Hot and muggy

Monday, September 09, 2013

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is hot and muggy out there!! Central Ohio just REFUSES to move into the fall weather system, at least as of today!!

We had a good time at the football game on Saturday. I forgot, somehow, that a person can go out and have a full day of fun on Saturday, then rest/Church/rest on Sunday, and all will be recharged for Monday. For some reason, I have been saving Saturday as part of my emotional rest day for years!!

How silly!!

This hearkens back to the fine old days when I had a job (while in college) that I disliked. I used to spend all of Sunday worrying and fretting about the job, and getting no rest/recuperation at all on Sunday.

I have no need to go back to that era or kind of thinking.

So . . . I will hunt down good things to do on Saturdays that involved getting out of the house, and DO THOSE THINGS!!

Sounds like a full weekend - full of good things to do. And it is hot here also, but one expects it to be in Texas. God bless. emoticon

Good plan. I'm on the West Coast (Portland, Oregon), and we're supposed to have temps in the 90s for the next 2 days. It's been in the 70s and 80s. The trees are beginning to change colors, and it's feeling like fall today, but it's going to be hot tomorrow and Wednesday!
