So, I am trying to be a little bit more proactive about my diet. Yesterday, I did some shopping and prepared a week's worth of salads and other healthy foods so hopefully I'll have plenty of healthy options close at hand and hopefully that will eliminate most of the other stuff I manage to make for myself. Fingers crossed that it will actually work the way I envision. I do know I am going out with a friend on Wednesday, but other than that I intend to eat healthy for all the rest of the days this week. If I am serious and actually see some progress at the end of this week, hopefully that will motivate me to keep it up the week after that.
I've been bouncing around within 10 pounds of my current weight for the majority of my adult life. That tells me that I am going to have to eat significantly less on a regular basis in order to force the scale to move. Even after I get the weight down to where I want it, it's going to require life changes to keep it down, but I think it's worth doing. I don't want to ever have to feel like I can't wear something because I feel fat.
Anybody want to volunteer to annoy me by checking in on my progress very frequently?
