One smokey day at a time

Monday, September 09, 2013

The smoke is improving. I plan to do Cathe's Step Moves and Desi's Solar Yoga this afternoon. I am a bit tired. I was up late. I need to do a meditation, do a bunch of paper work (luckily today is a work from home day!), and then my workout. Not necessarily in that order, but probably in that order. I also need to do some chores around the house, laundry/dishes/trash. At least now I'm not scared to go get the can at the street (long driveway!). With the bloody noses I have been getting the notion of going to get the can has been daunting, but I need to do it, the trash in the house is getting out of hand.

Does anybody know of a good bathroom scale brand? My weight watchers one is completely no good. I've not even had it a year. Bleh. I didn't go out the other day to buy a new one because of the smoke.

Hopefully that smoke will be gone soon. I bought a scale that has lasted longer than any other I've ever had - it's a Healthometer Professional. It's not digital so maybe that is why it's still working and it is accurate with the doctor's balance scale.

Besides the doctor's office type scale I have in my bathroom I have a Tanita Unltimate scale which measures BMI and weight.
