I'm calling this my day 1 (even it it is my Day 1 for the 978th time. Instead of my standard all or nothing mentality, I am going to give it my all but be a little more forgiving if I come up a little short- afterall losing 25 lbs instead of 30 leaves me better off than quitting atfter 5 because I'm not losing quickly enough. Instead of focusing on the whole next year and ALL of the weight that I want to lose, I'm focusing on the next 100 days. So here are a few of my short term goals:
1.) Finish Insanity- I got through 4 weeks of Insanity, and LOVED it! I missed two days which turned into 3 then 4...which turned into a week. I thought at that point that I wouldn't be sticking to the program if I was missing days- so I quit altogether. Smart thinking, huh? This time, I will allow myself 100 days to complete the 63 day program. Obviously the closer to the program I stay, the better, but I will not quit because I miss a day.
2.) Lose 31 lbs- I will be 31 in November. I would LOVE to lose 31 lbs by my 31st birthday, but its a stretch and I would be very happy with losing 31 lbs in the next 100 days.
3.) Drink more water- I just read that my recommended water intake is about 145 oz per day (which is actually crazy to think how I will drink that and not spend my life running to the bathroom), but I'm going to go for it!
4.) Stay in my calorie range at least 6 days/ week
5.) Blog every day- even if it is short- for all 100 days.
