Bought A New Tablet

Sunday, September 08, 2013

Since I have been absent for a week or so, I have bought me a new tablet. I got it for $70 off of Amazon. I have a confession to make: I am an Amazon junkie :)

I am really having issues with food addictions lately. I am wanting to start going more vegan. I am not sure that I can give up meat completely, but want to eat more healthier, and I really feel a vegan diet is the better way to go. I just feel some more spiritual changes coming my way.

I am mostly in to raw foods and yoga as an effective plan for me. This includes some meditation added, too.

I have been getting in to dance music as a way to move my hips a lot.

I'm an Amazon junkie too, but am just beginning the process of 'weaning' myself away from it, to get it down to a 'reasonable' level.

My tablet won't charge, but I did enjoy it when it was up. I especially liked the kindle app because I could download library books and read them without squinting - not like my phone.
Sounds like you have a good plan to get back on track. I have stopped logging all my food choices, and have to get back to doing that again, so I have some idea of how I'm doing, again.

Wishing good health and happy times with your new tablet!

I'm afraid to look at Amazon. As it is, I am addicted to rummage and garage sales and have spent a little bit of money this summer. Now I have to go through and organize everything.

I, too, feel that my life is headed into a more spiritual phase. I have to get back into meditation. I started an "Explore Your Spiritual Journey" class that seems like it will be intense and exactly what I need. They want us to read the Bible and journal every day. So, I'm working on that habit right now. I find it easy to take a motivational quote from SP and write on that.

I like dance music and moving the entire body to the beat. I bought a coin belt from a belly dance studio to add more weight and jingle!

    Remember your water too!

you don't have to go vegetarian to eat healthier. just cut back on meat. don't have it for one meal a day or one or two days a week. it's not hard to do, since there are many other sources of protein, like beans or nuts.

You can go a long way to improve tour nutrition by first increasing the amount of fruits and vegetables you eat, before (if you'll excuse the expression ;-)) going "whole hog" on vegan. emoticon

Just as you are now dependent on what you've been eating; if you gradually change to increased fruits and vegetables, you will eventually become dependent (and in this case it's a good thing) on eating fruits (fresh, dried), and vegetables (fresh, frozen).

Just a thought .. I know you can figure it out ...
