Well, I didn't make it to the laundromat, though luckily I have plenty of clean clothes for the work week. But I finally DID get the long-delayed spaghetti sauce cooking in my crock pot (I don't know about you, but I could kiss the feet of whoever invented the crock pot!).

I also did get the dishwasher emptied, the dirties into it, skillets washed and counters cleared and washed. I'm satisfied.

I love my crock pots! I have a 2 quart and a 7 quart and they are great! I got the dish washer emptied and the dirties in and washed the pots that didn't fit in there and the counters cleaned today as well. All that after finishing my book.

I too got things straightened up in the kitchen, DW emptied, planned the weeks menu, felt good about being up to date in the kitchen!
Biggest feeling of accomplishment, was that I spent an hour washing the interior of the car, wiped down all the nooks and crannies, vents on the dash, and scrubbed hard on the two cup holders! The cup holders had coins stuck in crusty sticky muck. Really hard to get clean. Just way past due. Weird timing, as I did it right after church, still dressed up, but I've been meaning to get it done..and it seemed like a good time. Sure made my nails look grossly dirty and chipped my polish.

Have a good week!

I LOVE my crockpot too! I cook it in it every Sunday. In the Winter I often have two of them going at a time. One with a pot roast for dinner and then the other with a sauce such as you or a chili to have during the week. Sounds like you had a great day. Never mind about the laundromat. Wishing you a great week back to work!

I finally used the vacuum in the living room - I've been walking around it for the last week!

I would be satisfied as well. I made a big batch of chile in my crock pot yesterday. I agree. It is a wonderful thing.
