I have been walking each morning at Wal-Mart, and then keeping my pedometer on and recording steps at the end of the day. I was getting so frustrated with the pedometer. If I fasten it to my waist, it burrows into my fat that should actually be referred to as a waist. (If belly buttons can be 'innies' and 'outies' then I guess I have an 'outie' waist.) Regardless........fast walking registered 7 steps in 35 minutes...5 laps.
Putting the pedometer on my sock really works much better, but still depends on position. besides, I walk faster, and my stride lengthens...not as many steps. I still like to get full credit, and my pedometer lies to me.
So, I am not longer counting steps. Now I am recording minutes. I hope to increase the minutes, ar at least increase the distance covered in the allotted minutes.
Now, if I could walk without exercising my wallet, I would be all set.
