Been too long again... about 1.5 - 2 weeks I think? I don't remember us doing any mowing last weekend, so it's had to be two!
At a stand still with weight loss - the bike alone the past two weeks without the massive spurts of mowing hasn't cut it... but at least no GAINS... that's enough to keep me happy at this point!
I've barely been sparking at all - just takes up so much time. Trying to focus on the important things, like actual movement and food/choices. I've splurged a bit here and there, but then those splurges are what keep me from talking myself off the bike.
Had a bad week the week before last, felt like I was trying to go into a sinus infection for most of it. Started like a cold.. so a few down days were required. Hoping that helped healing, because I don't feel like it progressed, altho' still having some sinus issues.
Made an egg casserole/quiche/whatever this morning, link to recipe should be in my feed if anyone's interested. Tried to keep it lo carb for hubby (he can control better with that, I cannot as I don't believe it's a lifestyle, life-long change I would succeed with - I can see using it as a kick-start, but I like breads/grains too much!). Eggs, turkey bacon, etc - the nutrition info didn't end up bad, and it tasted OM_NOM!!! I have to thank Mrs Dash mostly for that, and Tyson for the turkey bacon LOL Think it ended up about 260ish calories per serving - and that serving is 1/4 of the square pan I made it in... not bad, and still feel full - unlike if I'd eaten just some bacon/eggs.
Well - best get movin' on to that yard, it's not going to mow itself... well, it didn't last weekend, and now it's going to be really tough I know... blech! & 82 with a dew point at almost 65... 3pm start time is better than noon I guess... but still need to do laundry and many other things this afternoon/evening!
