Internet hiccups

Sunday, September 08, 2013

This last week we have had lots of problems with our internet connection - typical rural Colorado. Considering we have only had a connection tot he house here for the last 2 years, I guess we should be grateful for small mercies and be happy to be connected sometimes... Anyway, very frustrating...

We are having a great time with DD and here is a pic of a biscuit tin she brought back - very english of course commemorating the birth of the new prince

DD recovered from her travel stress and her RA flare up has subsided. She is 5'9" and less than 120 pounds dripping wet... However - she eats like a dockworker and I am running out of ideas of what to feed her. She eats more than DH and I combined :0 At least she does some of the cooking... Not eating wheat she doesn't get the foods that fill you up and she is hungry all the time. Eliminating wheat has been a huge help with her RA and despite being hungry she is sticking to it. Oatmeal and beans go a long way...

Very nice artwork. Yes, without the grains, you don't have enough bulk calories to feed her. ;)

That tin is so cute. Oh the internet can be horrible at times. I hope it gets better for you.
I'm sorry that your DD was having problems, but hopefully she is doing better.

I'm wheat intolerant also. I've found that eating 6 to 8 ounces of protein at each meal keeps me full. I use polenta, and rice pasta to replace the pasta that I loved.

what a cute plate/dish she brought you. So glad you are having a good time with your DD. Boy, I so get it with RA and flare ups. I am glad to hear she is doing well. I too get it with the not eating gluten as it really helps me as well.
Sorry about the internet. I hate slow internet so I could never live there.
It's slow and sometimes non dependable here in Mexico.
I know you must be looking forward to going back to Mexico.
Won't be long now.
Enjoy the rest of her visit.
