Things Look So Much Brighter with a Good Nights Sleep

Sunday, September 08, 2013

This is my bunny Harry Houdini. He enjoys being held and cuddled any time of the day or night. Harry loves apple slices and carrots. He is such a lovable little bunny rabbit. I am so grateful that I adopted him from the SPCA. He brings me so much joy!

Hey, I got this( new for me) used camera on Amazon. This is my first photo I took with my new camera. It's a step up from my old camera.

I'm really enjoying my day today. My self-esteem seems to be in the normal healthy range. I read a good article about post menopausal weight gain. It was encouraging. I am grateful to be alive and healthy.

Highlights from the Last Week:

A nurse picked me to help her find a urethra in a swollen post-partum mom. Another nurse volunteered to help. But, the nurse picked me. I found it and helped the new mom relax for the placement of the urinary catheter.

I got picked to be on the jury which made me feel good. It was nice to be trusted to be fair, unbiased and responsible for weighing evidence in a criminal trial.

I still get a baby high from the newborns at the hospital. I love watching loving moms, dads, and siblings with their new baby. I love helping them swaddle and comfort their newborns.

How wonderful to see new life. And I love that cute little bunny. I'd love to have one but the girls won't stand for it. They are 2 very big Maine Coons and would make quick of Houdini. emoticon

My Aunt Betty was a pediatric nurse in a maternity hospital (it was then called) for 40 years and loved it.
She was childless herself but always loved babies.
She actually was there for my (and several of my younger sibs) delivery- maybe that's how I came to have her name.

So glad to read that you're feeling better today!

I like how you filled your blog today with positive thoughts, and I really like the quote by Rhonda Byrnes about gratitude and abundance.

My bunny is a Houdini. I have to watch out when I put him in my outdoor bunny corral. He's gotten out more than once. emoticon Joy is definitely an inspiration.

    Your bunny is too adorable.
You have the link to the article? I sure could use a little encouragement on that subject too. JOY has been a big inspiration as what she says is so true, her success and active lifestyle are amazing.
Your combination of today and yesterday's blog posts show a lot of grit and self-discovery. You're on the right track.

Our fur babies are great comforters! Love your bunny! Good to see the positives this morning. Might I add that I was finally able to reach and maintain my goal POST menopausal?! There is no age limit on healthy choices. Enjoy your day!
