1. Stop choosing the wrong diet.

2. Stop setting unrealistic goals.

3. Stop using "lack of time" as an excuse.

4. Stop isolating yourself.

5. Stop underestimating your food intake.

6. Stop believing that "healthy" foods will cause weight loss.

7. Stop sitting all day.

8. Stop overestimating your exercise activity.

9. Stop compensating for exercise by eating more.

10. Stop expecting major results from minimal change.

    Thanks for the reminders of all the excuses. I have been on insulin for the last several months and have been gaining steadily. What I need to do is STOP blaming the insulin and figure out how to eat and exercise so that the weight starts coming off again and make the adjustments to how the insulin is working on my body!
