Haven't posted in a while, but down 8 lbs as of August!

Hey everyone. So I'm excited to say that as of August I am officially down 8 lbs! Haven't updated in a while because I was busy with work in July and August. Props to those people who update their pages or blog daily! I honestly just forget to. I need to go fix my tracker and make it up to date :D I just want people to know that it hasn't always been easy changing my lifestyle completely. I have my good days and bad days. Some days I still feel horrible about myself, but most days I try to remember how far I have come since I started this journey June 2nd. 8 pounds may not be a lot to some people, but I was never big or overweight to begin with, so 8 pounds is a lot to me. I still try to stick to 1 carb a day, and I have given up fast foods and junk foods completely. I am a big dessert person though. I usually treat myself to a dessert every 2 weeks, and if I'm craving something "bad" for me I'll have some pizza every once in a while. I think it's important to not completely deprive yourself. Just know your limits and don't go overboard with it. Hope everyone else is doing great and losing weight! :]
