I had a rough week, it was one thing after the other. I was tired, then had insomnia, which made me more tired, then slept like a baby for a few days but that was both good and bad because I missed my workouts. I did nothing all week except a lot of walking around shopping for work and home, and a lot of food prep and cleaning for both as well. It was exhausting! I also had a couple long days at work which didn't help. I think I get OVER tired and then can't sleep when I work long shifts. I then found out the track and locker rooms were closed at the Y!! Nope, not going in the co-ed family changing room with the people I have seen in there at night. Just not comfortable with that! And what would I do?? Nope, no Treadmill for me! I just can't deal with it!!
The change of seasons has thrown me for a loop too. It was so hot all weekend I did nothing but sweat, now it was cool enough for hoodies this week! Welcome to NY! We go from A/C to heat within the same day as well and it makes total havoc for my sinuses and immune system!! I am fighting sickness with lots of vitamin C, B complex, and healthy food. Its supposed to go from high of 64 to high of 86 in 2 days this week and then back down!! Time to take my echinacea/elder tea as well!!
I plan to get back on track this week for exercise. Tomorrow may be a bust, as I am supposed to be volunteering all day after going to the farm market. I am going to try to get out of that early and take Charlie hiking. He needs to get out as much or more than I do. Then back on the running training Monday, Circuits and so on. I have given up the Mudslog race until next year, I am just not prepared for it at ALL. I am going to have a hard time running a 5K with my lack of consistency! That will hopefully be much easier now that the weather has cooled down, and I am much better running in cooler temps! There are a few good fall ones I would like to do again, but have not settled on one. I also would like to do the Wonderful Life 5k in December that is in the town that inspired the movie. It was a fun race, and this year I hope to be in better shape for it!
