Need to find it again!
I don't really know what happened. I've just had a bad month or so. August was definitely a month I wish I could redo healthwise. Some physical stress combined with some money stress seems to have knocked me down for a bit. I am determined not to let it keep me down though! I have been eating extremely bad the past couple weeks. I mean bad! Junk food galore over here! Part of it is money related and another part is laziness. I really have no excuse.

So.... I am starting over! Tomorrow will be a new day and I plan to track my eating again. I did well without doing it for awhile. I pretty much memorized what to eat and how much. I think I need the added accountability of tracking again. Once I get back in the groove of things I may stop again. We shall see.

I had hurt my back a couple weeks ago. It was horrible. You don't realize how connected it is to your entire body until its hurt. It even hurt to sit down! It has finally stopped giving me grief. My wrist is still shot so I don't know if Im gonna be able to do any pushups anytime soon. I am going to start walking again though. I'm really hoping the triple digit heat passes soon so I can start going earliar. I love the fall. Fall walks are my favorite. Another exciting thing about Fall is one of my bestfriends and frequent walking buddy is moving next door to me.. I cannot wait. We are going to walk twice a day probably!

So anyway, just thought I'd leave an update. Haven't blogged in awhile. Wish I had some better news to report. I hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their summer...

    I do hope you are feeling better....icing has helped my sore back due to an injury years ago. It's a new day.......a new start. BELIEVE.....and get movin even if you don't feel like it! That is huge for me. I really didn't feel like getting out of my PJs to go for a brisk walk, however, I started visualzing in my mind how good I would feel...how my back would hurt less, and my heart would be so happy that I got out and just did it......and that is exactly what I did.....for 40 min. Even if you just get 10 in.......that is better than nothing! YOU CAN DO IT!!

    So sorry to hear about your injury. Just remember this is a journey and there will be times when we move ahead quickly and times when we are taking baby steps. Keep heading in the right direction!

    Sorry to hear that you've had some setbacks. I'm glad to hear that you're not going to let it stop you and you're going to keep moving forward. Don't beat yourself up. You're human. You don't have to be perfect. We all have those bad days/weeks/months. The trick is to not give up even when we are frustrated with ourselves. Forgive yourself, learn from the experience and move on. The back is essential and affects everything we do! I'm sorry you injured yours!

You're back and you don't have to look back. Just keep moving forward. emoticon emoticon emoticon
