This week's Season of the Beast Challenge was just the motivation I needed to get walking again.

On Tuesday I took my dogs ( a senior and a puppy) out for extra long walks instead of the lazy short walks that I've been doing lately. Yay!

On Wednesday I took my son to a 'meet the teacher' day at his new preschool. I have to say, I was tempted to drive there even though it's in walking distance. Instead, I put him in his wagon and set off walking. It was cool, but nice so we took the scenic route. It made for a nice little outing.

On Thursday I got out for a quick walk to the playground with my little guy.

On Friday I took my 12 year old dog out for a long stroll in the rain. He doesn't mind getting wet and I didn't really mind either. I snapped a couple of photos but ended up putting my phone away because i didn't want it to get wet!
Right after I took these pictures we came up to some train tracks where there were lots of wild rabbits running up and down the tracks! I don't think I've ever seen so many of them in the city before.

Here's my dog, plodding along.

And a shot of one of the blissfully quiet streets we walked down. It was nice to have the place to ourselves for a change...all of the other dog walkers we usually see must have been scared off by the rain!

Anyway, it felt great to get some extra walking in this week. I finally feel motivated again!
