I feel good--
I feel good when I eat well-- real food, not junk, not processed uckyness
I feel good when I give myself permission to leave work at work (well, most of it anyway)
I feel good when I give myself permission to be happy with my accomplishments
I feel good when I set goals for myself that are attainable and reasonable
I feel good when I reconnect with old friends who are true and supportive
I feel good when I release myself from guilt related to the past
I feel good when I allow myself to feel the joy of life-- all that I have and all I've yet to achieve.
For too long I've beat myself up about the past, punished myself about mistakes or bad choices or things that didn't turn out quite so good-- but how can a person survive and move forward if they're always dwelling on the negative, the things that didn't go right? It's time to move forward with my life. To embrace THIRTY and make it the best year yet.
This is my life. This is what I make of it.
There will always be bad days, there will always be another "case" at work, there will always be barriers to my goals-- but there will never, ever be another me-- so I have to take care of me.
What makes you feel good? Have you given yourself permission to move on and be happy?
