Every approach I've ever taken towards weight loss has failed, and I didn't know why until I joined Spark People: negative energy. If I went over on my points with another well-known program, I kind of had to punish myself for the rest of the week until my points balance was restored. With Spark People, I'm learning to make better choices each time I go to eat something. It's only been one week since I've officially started, and yes I went over a few days. But I didn't wake up feeling guilty. I just thought, 'OK, good to know.' The more I interact, the more points I get. That has encouraged me to stay active and 'pay it forward.' Send goodies to my new Spark friends, reach out and converse with others like me, and exercise daily. This really has become my favorite place on the internet.
