Day 11 Post Op

Saturday, September 07, 2013

OK, let's play with this. I'm starting to get depressed in the limitations of my diet so I'll just jump head first into calling this a healthy lifestyle change and go from there.

With my new outlook, let's see what my day might look like (instead of ice cream and mac & cheese all day):

Instead of Starbucks in the morning ($5 and 430 cals), I'll have an Ensure Protein drink (230 cals and maybe $1)

Oatmeal and greek yogurt will be my options for breakfast #2.

Maybe another protein drink or green smoothie for lunch. Might be able to handle some soups at work but they'd have to be brothy as to not make a mess.

Dinners will be just whatever I can figure out with the hubby...haven't really had time to test this yet. I've just been puree-ing things that we normally eat and so far it's OK. I'm so bread-centric that I have a hard time even thinking of non-bread related dinners.

Those little blue bell ice cream cups seem to be pretty safe for me. I get the ice cream without the temptation to scoop out a giant bowl for me. And they're only 170 cals.
