Can't believe that I am 40! Not one to get too worked up about age, but it seems strange....when I was a kid, 40 seemed old....I guess it is all in your perspective! emoticon

I think the thing that really snuck up on me is that my oldest child is in high school now. It won't be long before we are looking at colleges. Not gonna think about that right now though. emoticon

Looking forward to Sunday, since it will be the first day of Sunday school that I am helping to organize. Getting a little stressed thinking about it too much but hoping and praying all goes well. emoticon

I too, turned 40 in June. I must say I feel better now and am in better shape than when I was 30. I have more time for myself as I don't have to watch my kids like a hawk. My son is also a freshman this year which makes me feel a little old, but also proud. I always thought 40 was old too, but I'm enjoying it! Happy Birthday!!

40 is a great age (I'm 41)! I know what you mean about the perspective - when we were kids it was old, but now that we're there, it's not. Have a great weekend!

HEALTHYME98 9/6/2013 10:31PM mother told me it was the best decade of her life. I know what you are talking about, though. We received a letter today about a new program our county schools are implementing starting with our daughter's 7th grade class. It is to help her plot her course of study in order to line up with the post high school path...whether college or trade school. She wants to go to VATech to be a vet. (has since she was 7 years old) But, the thing that shocked me was realizing in 5 1/2 years she will be graduating emoticon
I feel your! I have to say though, I have enjoyed the beginning of my 40's more than the beginning of my 30's.
I guess it's your perspective.
